Suenna jeong 2017 premier's reading challenge art and word competition (YEARS 3-6) winner
Congratulations to Suenna Jeong from Blaxcell Street Public School who won the Premier’s Reading Challenge Art and Word Competition (Years 3 – 6 category) with her review and illustration of Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’.
Suenna was awarded the top prize in the PRC Art and Word Competition for her artwork of the magical book. It is a outstanding achievement as she was up against more than 200,000 students from across the state.
Students at Blaxcell Street Public School in Granville were treated to an hour with author Jacqueline Harvey.
Jacqueline visited the school and chatted to students as the ‘prize’ in the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge NewsLocal Words & Art competition.
Star House Art and Music College students dominated this competition we swept all the awards!!!
